About Snow & Ice Service Types

    Snow Removal Request

General requests for ice and snow removal from streets. The city prioritizes arterial streets, bus routes, and emergency routes during snow events.

    Parking Space Savers

Reports of objects (chairs, cones, lawn furniture, etc.) placed in public parking spaces to "save" a shoveled spot. Known locally as "dibs," these items can be reported for removal.

    Bike Lane / Bridge Sidewalk

Requests for snow removal from protected bike lanes and bridge sidewalks. These areas require special attention for pedestrian and cyclist safety.

    Snowy Sidewalk

Complaints about sidewalks covered in snow that haven't been shoveled. Property owners are legally required to clear snow from sidewalks within 24 hours after snowfall ends.
